Wordy Wednesday...

Gage went back to school, with his inhaler at the nurse's office.
Robert went back to the doctor for his elbow. The doc recommended physical therapy, however didn't think it would help much. So as of now Robert is going to stay the same course...He goes back in 3 weeks and if it gets worse will try the physical therapy. He told the doc about his hand accident that happened on Friday. Doc took an X-ray and Robert has a hairline fracture on a knuckle. Doc said he could put a cast on it, however it would just interfere with Roberts work and without one it is still going to heal ok!
On to a whole different subject, I still might have to find a sponsor for my kickball team. I am not too worried, because I have someone in mind.
Today is LAUNDRY day...So busy, busy, busy...
Finishing up Valentine's with the kids...Getting ready for the V-Day playdate on Friday at Mindy's house...Watching TV while enjoying Berta's spaghetti!

Another Weekend Wrap-Up

We started off the weekend with Peanut going to her very first gymnastics class. She was so adorable in her leotard. Of course "blonde" Mommy forgot the camera. Robert helped paint the wall at the KC Hall. While cleaning up there, his hand got smashed by the scaffolding. So on top of being hurt from his elbow prob, he is nursing his hand too. Thank the heavens it is all on the same side. Before the hand incident he was playing RockBand 2 for a good 2 hours with Ryan and got a few blisters from that. I swear the man is just slowly falling apart.
Saturday started off with some really good cinnamon rolls. Followed by loading up the kids and picking up my grandfather, so that the kids could do the Home Depot Kid's Workshop. Of course I should of been smart enough to know that taking my grandfather was of no help to me. The minute we walked in he disappeared. However the kids made really cute trinket boxes. After I dropped off Papau, I took the kids home for lunch and the girls had a small nap. While they were napping at home with daddy, I finally made the trip into James Avery that I had put off all week. I got home just in time to eat really fast, get the girls up and ready for Gage's football game. He played Quarterback for the first time and did really good on some plays, but still needs practice. The Packers won 22-0 against the once undefeated Cowboys. Our team shirts came in and the whole fam was decked out supporting our Gage!!! At 7 ... I went to Miranda's for a well deserved Mommy-Night-Out!!! The whole night was a blast and I am looking forward to the things I ordered to come in! Wink! Wink!
After getting little sleep from the night before everyone in the house was up at 9:30...After texting Miranda, we decided to meet at the Lexington at 1. Christi and her fam joined too. We spent a good 3 and 1/2 hours there, but everyone had fun. We came home and watched Saw V...the movie was just stupid and gory...I hope it is the last of that crap. We were pretty much lazy for the rest of the weekend.
Monday morning...Gage woke up with a nasty sounding cold. I couldn't get him to the doctor until this morning. He is on an inhaler 4 times a day, a steriod to help open up his lungs and an antibiotic to help with a swollen lympnode in his throat. Hopefully these rounds of meds knock everything out. He really wants to go to football practice.
Well I guess that is all ... TTFN...

The Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday...
It was pretty much an ordinary day. Hubby and I did grocery shoppin without Gage, because he gets too bored and makes us want to pull our hair out. Then that night we went and ate at the "red monster" as peanut dubbed it. (Red Lobster if no one caught that). We went and rented some movies and had a great movie/family night with everyone curled up on the coach in jama's and blankies with popcorn and candy.

Saturday...
I picked up Gage's Coke fundraiser. Now 5 cases of Coke product graces my entryway, because I don't feel like hauling them to the garage fridge. I took Cami with me to sign her up for Kickball. I will be her coach this year and thankfully we are a different team cause no lil girl looks cute in a god-awful grey. We will be the Sharks ... woohoo! GO SHARKS!!! ... Black and Hot Pink or some other girly color will look "qt". I already have 3 other girls on my team besides my daughter. I am excited to have the help of a really "artsy" team mom, Thank you Mindy! I am also pleased to announce I roped a few kewl ladies into being my assistants, thanks to Tanya and LeeAnn!!! The rest of Saturday was spent watchin the last of our rented movies, playing video games, and just chillaxin...

Sunday...
We slept in...Had a great brunch...At 1 Gage had a football game...GO PACKERS!!! They tied the game! A really good game-ending tackle by Gage....So yea!!! for Gage. I of course didn't put on sunscreen before the game, so I have a beautiful "monster" red on my face...which kind of looks funny on one side cause it is brighter...Oh well I will just have to even it out with next week's game. After Gage's game, we just lazed around until the Super Bowl. I was really going for the underdog, they held their own...I am thinking I might just take a big interest in football next year and root for the Cardinals again...GO CARDINALS!!! Oh and btw to everyone that loves a good meal during a football game...Hubby made really good Ribeyes on the grill, with baked tatoes, and green beans with bacon. It was a meal to die for.

I hope every one's weekend was just as eventful. On a side-note...Enjoy your week!!!

Friends...

I am a complacent friend. I tend to let people walk all over me and control the friendship...as long as you don't go overboard in the way you treat me. How fucked up is that??? I had a friend that was a friend of mine for years and I mean years...We met back 2000 and were joined at the hip in everything that we did. Even back then the relationship was flawed. At the time I chalked it up to being a teenager and we are all emotional. Well I let my friend do whatever and be however rude or inconsiderate of my feelings as she wanted, because at the time I didn't care. Well after a year of that, I started to show wear and annoyance...One incident broke the camel's back. We didn't talk or speak to each other for a good 2 years.
We became friends again, when our daughters were born a month apart from each other. For the first year we saw each other either alot over one month or not for awhile every couple 3 months...So that first year it was great...Even the second and third year...Then the fourth year and I can't believe the crap she does...So I start to get short every once in awhile. I try talking to her and all I ever hear about is "woe is me .... I, I, I" from her...I again allow things to fester. I decide finally for myself that I don't need her crap to exist.

I finally become independent...Only the insane keep company with people that don't see the error of their ways. I know what I did in this relationship and will gladly own up to it to her...not over Blogger...However I can promise you that in my entire god-givin life she would never admit her wrongs or seek help to fix whatever makes her the way she is.

TTFN...Natilda

P.S. One "Pre-k"er using her big people words....HAHAHAHA!!!!!

I wish...

I wish life would quit pushing me down...
I feel so alienated...
I need...
someone to talk to...
someone I can confide everything in...
someone to not use me...

Oh for crying out loud...
I can't do this anymore...
the heartache...
the pain...
I feel as though the world is crashing down around me...

Someone asks, "Do you know who you are anymore?"
Well...Do you???
I can honestly say ... I am that blithering idiot that wishes life would cease to torment me the way it seems to be doing right now...
